The ground rules.

Shopping at a small workshop-led brand works best when everyone knows the terms. Here’s how ordering, paying, shipping, and returning things with ZIVAYU works — written without lawyer-speak where we can avoid it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of zivayu.com and any purchase you make from us. By browsing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don’t, please stop using the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding contract under Indian law to place an order. We currently accept orders from within India only.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for every activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Please give us accurate, up-to-date information. If it turns out to be false, we may suspend or close the account.

4. Products, pricing & availability

  • We work with small, harvest-linked batches, so stock can shift day to day. Listings are not a guaranteed offer to sell.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Despite our best efforts, occasional typos, pricing slips, or stock errors happen. We reserve the right to correct errors, cancel affected orders, and refund you in full.
  • Product photos are representative. Colour, pack shape, and label art may shift slightly between batches.

5. Orders, payments & taxes

An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email from us. Until then, it is a request, not a contract.

We accept payments through Razorpay — UPI, cards, net banking, and select wallets. Payment information is handled by Razorpay under their own terms and security standards; we never see or store your card details.

All prices are inclusive of GST where applicable. A GST invoice is attached to every order confirmation.

6. Shipping & delivery

  • We ship across India through our logistics partners. Tracking links are emailed once your package leaves our workshop.
  • Typical delivery is 3–7 business days, depending on pincode and weather.
  • Every product is FSSAI licensed, packed in food-safe materials, and handled with care — but delivery timelines depend on our partners, so delays can occasionally happen.
  • If a shipment is lost, damaged, or tampered with on arrival, please reach out within 48 hours and we’ll make it right.

7. Cancellations, returns & refunds

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund — just write in.
  • Unopened, undamaged products may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Given the nature of food & wellness products, opened items can only be returned if they arrived damaged or defective.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of the return reaching us.

8. Intellectual property

The ZIVAYU name, logo, product names, photography, illustrations, and written content on this site are our property or that of our contributors. You may not copy, republish, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Fair personal use — sharing a product link, posting a photo with the brand tagged — is welcome.

9. Acceptable use

When using zivayu.com, please don’t:

  • Attempt to probe, scan, or breach our systems or security measures.
  • Scrape the site, automate purchases, or resell products without written approval.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or post reviews you didn’t write yourself.
  • Impersonate another person or misuse another customer’s details.

We may suspend or close any account used this way, without refund for the abused service.

10. Health & wellness disclaimer

Our products are traditional, ethically sourced foods and Ayurvedic botanicals. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

If you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a medical condition, please consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before adding any wellness product to your routine. The content on our blog and product pages is for general information and shouldn’t replace medical advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZIVAYU’s total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — such as lost data, lost profit, or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. We would much rather resolve things with a conversation — email us first, and we’ll work on it.
